Parents must notify their child care provider and call
1-866-960-6496 immediately to report a child’s absence during normal participation hours. |

How many days can my child
be absent? |
| |
- Parents whose children are receiving child care for the first time have up to 3 days to start child care or care can be terminated.
- Parents who have children in ongoing child care have up to five consecutive days to contact the child care vendor to report absences or child care can be terminated.
- Children cannot miss more than 30 days within a year’s enrollment period.
