Filing for Unemployment Insurance Benefits Workforce Solutions can show you how to file for Unemployment Insurance benefits, but it does not handle your claim or benefits. All claims are filed with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) in Austin either by calling a Tele-Center or doing so online. TWC also handles all of your benefits.
