To meet the challenges resulting from The President’s 2011 Budget Proposal, it is developing a series of exclusive resources for you. These resources keep you linked with the industry and with potential future employment.

Don’t procrastinate.   Don’t wait till the last minute.  Fail to plan, plan to fail.  All of these are familiar phrases that we have heard throughout our lives.  We know that Johnson Space Center is in the midst of a transition right now.  Acting now to prepare for the next phase of your life is very important.  To support this, United Space Alliance is hosting a transition center with Workforce Solutions.  In addition, workshops and seminars are being offered to improve job search skills. Once you enter your personal information into the system, your unique profile will include a special designation to distinguish you from other applicants. Filing for Unemployment Insurance Benefits
 Workforce Solutions can show you how to file for Unemployment Insurance benefits, but it does not handle your claim or benefits. All claims are filed with the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) in Austin either by calling a Tele-Center or doing so online. TWC also handles all of your benefits.
