I recently overheard a Workforce Solutions staff person say, "What's the big deal about Service Levels in WorkInTexas.com? If the customer wants the referral, I give them the contact information and move to the next customer."
WorkInTexas.com uses Service Levels to determine the type of access the employer wants to give the job posting. When consulting with employers about filling their openings, it is important to not only understand their recruitment expectations but to enter postings in WorkInTexas.com that support those expectations.
Does the employer expect Workforce Solutions staff to pre-screen candidates before providing contact instructions to apply?
Does the employer want to see all of the candidates who show interest regardless of their qualifications?
Is the employer participating in an initiative or program that requires candidates to meet additional qualifications not related to experience, education, or skills?
