The Where the Jobs Are list is a fantastic resource to use if you are interested in locating occupations that present the greatest employment opportunities.

  • High-Skill, High-Growth Occupations - The occupations on this list represent jobs that have growth, openings and salaries greater than average for the entire region. Worforce Solutions provides scholarships to eligible candidates for those high-skill, high-growth occupations that are most critical to our local economy.  Occupations supported by Workforce Solutions scholarship are a subset of the high-skill, high-growth occupations for the region.

  • High-Skill, High-Growth Booklet - The booklet contains brief descriptions about each high-skill, high-growth occupation, provides useful facts and offers interesting labor market information about popular career choices. It is best used when searching for in-demand occupations in our region.

Job Corps

Job corps is a free education and training program that helps young people learn a career, earn a high school diploma or GED, and find or keep a good job. For eligible young people ages 16 through 24 that qualify as low income, Job Corps provides the all-around skills needed to succeed in a career and in life.
