Childcare Financial Assistance
Workforce Solutions - Gulf Coast’s Child Care Scholarships provide financial assistance for eligible families to access quality childcare while parents work, pursue workforce education and job training, or while seeking employment. The program is designed to promote economic self-sufficiency, support early childhood development, and enhance the overall quality of care through investment in early learning providers.

Parents are encouraged to select a provider who meets high-quality standards, as it can impact your child’s readiness for success in school.
Here are some quality indicators to help with your choice:
- A Texas Rising Star (TRS) certified provider
- Accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting organization approved by the Texas Workforce Commission
- Kindergarten Readiness System certified
