Early Education Quality
Texas Rising StarWorkforce Solutions - Gulf Coast works to increase the number of high-quality early learning programs in our 13-county region. We want every child to have access to safe, caring, and educational child care services.
We support child care providers who want to improve their classrooms and help their teachers grow through training and education. We also work with families to help them support their child’s learning and development at home.
A Quality Child Care Indicator means any appropriate indicator of quality services, including whether the provider participates in any of these services:
- Texas Rising Star certification
- Texas School Ready (TSR) program participation
- Accreditation by a nationally recognized accrediting organization approved by TWC
