Reemployment Services: Helping You Return to Work
The Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA) program is designed to help you get back to work faster and make the most of your Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits. Through RESEA, you’ll connect with an employment coach who will work with you one-on-one to guide you toward job opportunities and resources that fit your needs.
This program helps you find work more quickly, ensures your benefits are accurate, and connects you with support like child care, transportation, or training to help you earn more. It also opens the door to other workforce programs that can give you even more tools to succeed in your career.
When you participate in RESEA, you’re not just receiving benefits—you’re taking the first step toward your next opportunity. Our team is here to support you every step of the way, helping you reach your career goals and build a stronger future.
Received a RESEA Letter? You’re in the Right Place.
If you recently applied for Unemployment Insurance and were selected for the RESEA program, Workforce Solutions is here to guide you back to work quickly.
Workforce Solutions Gulf Coast helps you go beyond meeting requirements and prepares you for long-term career success. We connect you to job leads matched to your skills, provide expert career guidance, and share labor market information about high-demand industries in the region. You may also access financial aid for training or credentials, and receive support for licenses, tools, transportation, or work clothing to help you succeed.
Start by logging into WorkInTexas.com to access and watch the mandatory TWC RESEA Orientation Video under “Quick Menu” to understand your responsibilities and the support available. A link to the video is included in your RESEA packet. Next, you must document your job search activities over the past two weeks, including dates, employers contacted, positions applied for, and how you applied. Finally, schedule a meeting with a Workforce Solutions professional, either virtually or in person, to review your job search, explore career and training opportunities, and create a personalized plan to help you reach your career goals.
Important Note: Failure to attend this mandatory appointment may affect your unemployment benefits. To avoid interruption of your unemployment benefits:
- You must complete your RESEA appointment within 7 days of the date on your yellow RESEA letter; and
- Bring your job search logs for the past two weeks to your appointment
