Each November, Workforce Solutions – Gulf Coast, The Texas Workforce Commission, the Texas Veterans Commission, and the Texas Medical Center host thousands of veterans, transitioning service members, and the families of those on active duty to Hiring Red, White & You! a statewide job fair.
Each year, more than 100 local employers and veteran service organizations are on hand offering good-paying jobs that match your skillset, information on services, and more.
You’ve earned it, and we can help you get credit for your military training!
College Credit for Heroes is an online database that matches your military experience to college courses. As a guest user, you can quickly see how many college credits your military occupation may qualify for. By registering, you can request an official evaluation of your military education.
If you pursue a degree or certificate, you can even get an official college transcript. College Credit for Heroes is a partnership between the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.
