Wharton Hosts Regional Business Growth Summit Today

Regional employers and workforce partners will gather in Wharton for the Chambers in Action Regional Business Growth Summit, a collaborative effort focused on supporting business growth and workforce solutions.

Juliet Stipeche will be in attendance, joining partners and employers from across the region for the event.

The summit takes place today, May 7, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Wharton Civic Center and will bring together employers from Wharton, Bay City, and El Campo.

Hosted in partnership with the U.S. Department of Labor, Texas Workforce Commission, Workforce Solutions Gulf Coast, Small Business Administration, and regional chambers of commerce, the event offers a range of opportunities for businesses to connect with key resources.

Attendees can take part in a business resource fair, employer panel discussions on workforce challenges and apprenticeship opportunities, networking sessions, and access on-site technical assistance for workforce and business services.

The summit is part of a broader multi-chamber initiative aimed at strengthening rural economies, supporting local employers, and connecting businesses with coordinated resources at the local, state, and federal levels.
