Treatment Program

ADA Women’s Center provides licensed substance abuse treatment for women in Galveston County and Brazoria County along the Texas Gulf Coast. Women whose lives have become unmanageable through the use of drugs and/or alcohol can find healing and recovery and learn tools for clean and sober living. Treatment works. We offer hope for a healthier, happier future.

Substance Abuse Services

It is a court-supervised treatment program for participants with non-violent criminal charges who also have a drug or alcohol addiction.  The program is voluntary and is the personal choice of participants. The mission of the Galveston County Drug Court Program, HOPE, is to reduce recidivism, improve public safety,allow the substance abusing offender to return as a productive and successful member of the family, workforce, andcommunity overall.

Multitude of services

Hires ex-offenders. Also they do  Skill-Set Evaluations, Educational and Skill Supplementation, and placement assessments.Provides emergency housing for individuals who do not have sex offenses and who are not on electronic monitors. The first three nights are free of charge, but they are $7 per day after that. Participants must be employable. A work program is available.
